Zoey is a Certified and Accredited Mediator of eight years' standing and is happy to undertake a full range of civil and commercial disputes.
Her skills were recognised by her appointment to the faculty of the renowned 218 Strand (formerly LSM) in January 2013. Zoey is also the first
Honorary Secretary of the Society of Mediators, a Charity promoting mediation and providing free public education and access
to mediation services.
Zoey is a graduate of Law & Business from the University of Wales and also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. She lives in both the South West & London but is happy to travel Nationwide.
She practices as a mediator in her own right but also acts as an assistant mediator in sensitive or complex cases alongside QCs and other senior mediators. In addition to her mediation work Zoey is a Justice of the Peace in both the Family Proceeding & Criminal Courts and is often instructed as a Legal Researcher in complex cases ranging from Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence to Abuse and Human Rights.
She is able to bring over eight years of experience in the Magistrates Courts and commercial experience from a decade of successful innovation in her first career in the insurance industry and legal sectors to the task of problem solving.
As a director of a number of businesses herself Zoey understands fully the detrimental effect that disputes have on both people and businesses as well as the importance of bringing matters to a sensible conclusion at the earliest opportunity.
Combining natural charm and curiosity with a calm resolve that inspires people to settle their differences Zoey is equally comfortable working with lay and professional clients in order to provide them with the opportunity to identify and resolve their problems in a way that is mutually agreeable to all concerned.
Speaking plainly and avoiding unnecessary jargon, she is warm, engaging and approachable which makes her particularly popular with nervous clients and in disputes of a sensitive nature.
When not sitting as a JP or involved in dispute resolution, Zoey is a busy mother to two boys, an enthusiast for open top motoring, and a keen photographer.
She is a director of a number of companies and a well-known figure in charitable fund raising in her home county with a particular interest in the rights of children. She is currently working on a major pro bono initiative that will benefit children in her area.
