Andrea is a public access accredited Barrister (called 1999) with more 20 years’ experience in personal injury, clinical negligence and costs litigation.
She is an accredited mediator and has provided training internationally in conflict management and mediation to such organisations as the United Nations and UPeace.
Andrea has vast experience in fatal and catastrophic injuries whilst working at renowned Defendant insurer solicitors Davies Arnold Cooper solicitors (now part of DAC Beachcrofts) for 4 years. Andrea has also acted as consultant to a leading insurer on “ways to minimize financial leakage in personal injury and clinical negligence claims”.
Andrea is an experienced fast and multi track counsel based in the South West with a nationwide practice in personal injury, road traffic, civil claims and costs matters, for both claimant and defendant.
Before coming to the Bar she was in-house counsel for fatal and catastrophic ELPL and RTA within the personal injury department of a major London firm. This experience gives her a great understanding of the pressures on those instructing her which is much appreciated by many of loyal clients. Andi is approachable, responsive and a good communicator, qualities which make her in demand as a trainer as well as a popular advocate.
